The Mainland is considered an empire, and it's leader is the Emperor or Empress. They have one noble family.
The Royal Family[]
The current Royal Family are the Redwoods. The current Empress is Cedar. Other living relatives are Prince Maple (the true heir) and Sycamore (Cedar and Maple's dying mother who stepped down due to her illness).
